Allianz Partners Launches New Travel Advisor Handbook

More than a Marketing Guide, The Advisor Handbook is an Essential Tool for Travel Advisors

Richmond, Virginia, August 24, 2022 – Allianz Partners has launched a new “Advisor Handbook” for travel advisors. Previously known as the company’s Marketing Guide, the Advisor Handbook includes traditionally-offered sales tips and marketing best practices as well as a glossary of insurance terms, a newly added list of “covered reasons” for trip cancellations, and information about valuable coverage for existing medical conditions.

Among the newly added sections are:

  • The Allianz Advantage: Advisors learn about the unique ways they can grow their business, stand out from the crowd and build customer loyalty.
  • Epidemic Endorsement: Allianz’s coverage for epidemics is fully explained.
  • Marketing Campaign Previews: Advisors can find out where to access and how to use plug-and-play, multimedia travel insurance marketing materials, plus get a preview of what’s coming next.
  • Online resource directory: Advisors can browse descriptions and quick links to valuable online partner resources such as Travel Agent Academy and Partner Toolkit.

The Advisor Handbook also includes sections on the company’s proactive SmartBenefits® that automatically make payments for qualifying delays, as well as information on its award-winning TravelSmart™ mobile app that allows users to carry their travel insurance information with them on their phone, as well as file and track claims, reach travel assistance with a single click and receive location-specific advisories through the Alert Center.

The Advisor Handbook includes Sales and Marketing best practices as well as complimentary marketing campaigns for travel advisors. The “I Travel Because” marketing campaign includes video, print ads, posters, social media executions and online banner ads that can be used by travel advisors to communicate the benefits of protecting a trip with Allianz Travel Insurance.
