Among all U.S. high school students who play sports, more than one quarter of their parents hope their child will become a professional athlete one day.¹ For young athletes who aspire to reach the major leagues, or at least compete on a college scholarship, attending college summer training camps may give them a competitive edge. But these are typically costly and must be booked months in advance. So what happens if they get injured or sick prior to or during the camp and can’t participate?

We created a robust, affordable Camp Protector and partnered with My Online Camp to offer it to future sports champions across the country. My Online Camp (MOC) is a leading marketing, management, and registration service for 17,500 U.S. annual sports camps and youth events. MOC, which developed the Ryzer camp notification system, has supported more than two million parents and athletes registering for camps.

Day Camp Protector benefits:  Reimbursement for covered cancellation or interruption (single-day)

Overnight Camp Protector benefits:  Reimbursement for covered cancellation or interruption, medical and dental emergencies, emergency medical transportation, travel delay reimbursement, baggage/equipment protection and bag delay, plus 24/7 customer assistance

Our Session products may also insure: Youth camps, art & science camps, and exam preparation classes for college admissions exams. Separate Event Protector products can insure those exams, including the SAT, ACT, GRE and GMAT

A ski or snowboarding trip to the mountains is an opportunity to bond with friends or family while appreciating awe-inspiring natural beauty. Ski passes, equipment and travel costs can add up quickly. So we designed Lift Ticket Protector products with cancellation for single day tickets and full or pro-rated reimbursement of the cost of a resort season pass for customers who miss at least 30 days or a quarter of their season, whichever is less, caused by a covered injury, illness or other covered reasons. We also provide Ski Support through our 24/7 global assistance hotline.

We’re thrilled to have recently launched our Lift Ticket Protector on Liftopia.com, offering protection for single day and multi-day tickets as well as season passes. Through our Liftopia partnership, we offer season pass protection for the Mountain Collective Pass on MountainCollective.com, which provides access to 16 dream destinations for winter sports across five continents. Liftopia is the largest online marketplace for discounted ski lift tickets in North American and worldwide. Its Cloud Store and dynamic pricing engine provides critical tools to help ski resorts increase revenue and gain more predictable e-commerce sales.
